Untitled Poem

They came from land and sea,
Before we could hear or see,
Tremendous fear stroke us fast,
Not knowing how long this would last.

Rains of fire turns the village into dust,
A single breath we take ignites their lust,
We were hoping our prayers would be heard,
Crying for our life not to be teared.

Pool of red blood for all eyes there to stare,
Protect us for the one who are not scare,
Wake up forth and stand still in a queue,
Not much to say rather than may God bless you.

There is no joys; only hope,
For us who are hanging to the same rope,
Not us crawl instead we must stand,
By any means necessary protect our land.

Heroes of the world woke up at dawn,
Healers of faith crawl up from lawn,
Protect us we must save us we will,
Hear us; our soul we despair our enemy we kill.

Stood still the statue we saw,
Trembling and shivering the enemy withdraw,
We praised the heroes and let them rest on hay,
For their life sacrificed for our Independence Day.

P/s: My brother wrote this poem, I don't know for what purpose, some presentation skills for his course work I guess. It's pretty neat, and good actually. I don't simply give credits to anyone, but credit's where the credit's due of course.

This poem actually in the concept of celebrating the incoming independence day, that will be on 31st of August. I wonder is there any usual event for this year's celebration e.g. marching parade and Merdeka's countdown, because of this fasting month. Hopefully, they can change the programs and put some slot like Mega Solat Hajat (it's like a specific pray for if you wish for something) around the country.

I know war can be very devastating moment, full of horror. Fleeing in terror, the artillery missile flying above, the deadly claymores fill every inches of our motherland. I just cannot imagine it.
But there's nothing we can do to avoid them. In our belief, that day will come, where we will fight against Jews. That will be the end of this world.
